Alan G. Ward

Funeral services for Alan G. Ward, 79, of Irving, is set for 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 24, 2013 with Pastor Arthur Green officiating. A private burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation is will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday prior to the service.

Mr. Ward passed away at his residence on July 21, 2013.

Alan was born September 4, 1933 in Gainesville to Clyde and Madge Ballard Ward. He was employed as a truck driver for UPS for 23 years.

Mr. Ward is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Evans Ward of Irving; daughter Kelly Ripley of Euless; grandsons Todd and Matthew Clarkson, both of Irving.

Alan was preceded in death by his grandparents Roy and Lucy Ballard; mother Madge Fleenor; parents Clyde and Marjorie Ward; brothers Clyde Ward and George Davis; sister Susie Whiten.
