Wanda Bellar

Funeral services for Wanda Lou Bellar, 63, of Woodbine, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Vilott Baptist Church in Callisburg with Rev. Rick Isham officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday July 26, 2013 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bellar passed away July 25, 2013 at her residence.

Wanda was born August 29, 1949 in Brazoria to Olin (Bill) and Edith Dodge Curtis. She was life-long teacher; very passionate about education. She has been a loving wife, best friend, and mother. She will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Bellar is survived by her husband and best friend Jerry Bellar of Woodbine; son and daughter-in-law Roy and Jane Whitlock of Cedar Park; daughter and son-in-law Emily and Gordon Adams of Keller; son Ben Whitlock of Cheyenne, WY; step-son and daughter-in-law Jason and Rhonda Bellar of Bentonville, AR. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Carolyn LaQue.
