David R. Wright

A memorial service for David Wright, 57, of Gainesville is set for 2:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2013, at the First Christian Church with Rev. Mark Loewen officiating. Graveside services are private. No visitation is planned.


David passed away on July 29, 2013 in Denton.


Mr. Wright was born September 9, 1955 in Gainesville to Edwin Earle, Jr. and Ona Roberts Wright.


David is survived by his wife Crystal Wright of Gainesville; daughter Victoria Wright of Fort Worth; father Edwin E. Wright Jr. of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law Edwin E., III and Josie Wright of Dallas; aunt Caroline Cunningham of Gainesville; aunt Joy Craig of Fort Worth; cousin and her husband Paula and Doyle Roberts of Gainesville; cousin and her husband Allison and Paul Fuchs of Keller; cousin and her husband Susan and Truman Lamineck of Houston; life-long friends Glen Thurman of Gainesville and Larry Lewis of Lawton, OK.


Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his mother on May 31, 2013.


Elders of the First Christian Church will be pall bearers.
