Winell Gaidaroff

November 15, 1919 — October 26, 2013

Funeral services for Winell Gaidaroff, 93, of Gainesville, affectionately known as “Mrs. G”, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bennie Strong officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Mrs. Gaidaroff passed away October 26, 2013 in Gainesville. She was born November 15, 1919 in Stephens County, OK to Marion Sylvester and Arizona Mae Stanley.


Mrs. Gaidaroff graduated from high school in Roosevelt, OK. On June 3, 1939 she married Oscar Gaidaroff in Hobart, OK. Many remember Mrs. G from the 24 years she was employed at North Central Texas College. Mrs. Gaidaroff could often be found immersed in good book or embroidering countless gifts for her family.


Survivors include: daughter, Betty Morgan, of Gainesville; daughter, Linda Clark, of Gainesville; grandchildren: Jeremy Morgan (Tina), Amy Woolsey (T.J.), Laurie Harvick (Kevin), and Jason Clark (Brenda); great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Breann, Lexi, Jared, McKenzie, Sara, Collin, Emma, Simon, and Anna; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hague, of Oklahoma City, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.


Mrs. Gaidaroff was preceded in death by: her husband of 60 years, Oscar Gaidaroff; her parents; sons-in-law, Burney Morgan and Harold Clark; four sisters, and one brother.


Family members will be serving as pallbearers.
