Marsha Kathelene Daniell

A memorial service for Martha Kathelene “Kathe” Daniell is set for Friday, November 1, 2013, at 2:00pm, at Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville, with Rev. Eddie Chenault officiating.
Ms. Daniell died on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Gainesville.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Christian of Hamlin, TX; her mother and step-father Lena and Dan Neithercut of Anson, TX. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Steven Hargrove of Colorado Springs, CO, her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, Cash, Andrea, and Mary Daniell of Weatherford, TX; sisters Beth Vogel of Hamlin, Tx and Connie and husband Ricky Close of Colorado, her aunt Eva Followill of Gainesville, TX.
Kathe was born in California on March 11, 1953 and grew up in Hamlin, TX. She lived in Texas most of her life, but spent many years in Colorado Springs, CO and Anchorage, AK. She worked in finance, banking, the airline industry, and was a Human Resources manager. Her most important role, though, was being a loving and affectionate mother and grandmother.
She loved nature and the outdoors, and even tried her hand at fly fishing and cross country skiing. She was an excellent cook and baker, and enjoyed doing so for her friends and family. She was a kind sole caring for animals, including her cats. She was extremely outgoing, and loved to meet people. She easily made friends with her playful and helpful spirit. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
