Frankie Marie Hermes

Memorial funeral mass for Frankie Hermes, 77, of Gainesville, is set for 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Ken Robinson officating. Burial will follow in the St. Peter's cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Born July 19, 1936 to Agnes & Raymond Owen in Arlington, TX. She was raised in Muenster and graduated from Sacred Heart School. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville. Frankie passed away on October 30, 2013 in Gainesville.
Married Jim Hermes on August 17, 1955,
Frankie took pride in her seven daughters and would join them on many of their sister trips.
She is survived by her 7 daughters: Terry Alexander and husband Bobby of Callisburg, Cathy Biffle of Denton, Janet Polete of Murphysboro, IL, Karen Hanson and husband Greg of Lindsay, Sandy Schmitz and husband John of Gainesville, Gina Hermes of Denton & Gayle Caillier and husband Kenneth of Lindsay.
Grandchildren: Jessey Barnes, Bobbie Alexander, Jordan Alexander, Aaron Biffle, Stephanie Peterein, Joshua Polete, Julie Hanson, Dillon Hanson, Tiffany Schmitz, Shelby Schmitz , Suzanne Schmitz, Justin Caillier, Ashley Martinez & Megan Caillier.
Great-grandchildren: Riley Barnes, Shelby Kay Peterein & Maximilian Martinez
Sisters: Elizabeth & Tom Hollis of Tenn., Georgia & Jerry Henscheid of Irving, Lois Wray of Irving, Mary Trammel & Margie Pagel of Lake Dallas, Cheryl Hibbits of Sachse, Sue & Don Patrick of Ft. Worth, Karla & Ed Tweedie of Southlake.
Proceeded in death by: parents Agnes & Ray Owen, James Ray Owen, Joyce Koelzer, Michael Owen & Glenn Owen.
