Christopher John Metzler

Funeral Mass for Christopher John Metzler 51, are set for Monday November 11 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Phillip Petta officating with interment to follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Sunday November 10, 2013 with visitation to follow at St. Peter's Church at 7:00 p.m.

Chris was born on April 5, 1962 in Gainesville, Texas to Raymond " Bud ' and Helen Corcoran Metzler. Chris married Brenda Neu on June 19th, 1982. He enjoyed farming, fishing, wood working and using his hands to complete many tasks.

Chris is survived by his wife Brenda Metzler, children Jason, Nichole and Collin Metzler, parents Raymond " Bud " and Helen Metzler ,sister Sharon Felderhoff and husband Ronnie, brothers Karl Metzler and wife Kathy, Jeff Metzler and wife Karen and Brad Metzler and wife Ronda, numerous aunts ,uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents Phillip and Frances Metzler and John " Mutt ' Catherine Corcoran.Pallbearers are sons Jason and Collin Metzler, brothers Karl, Jeff, and Brad Metzler, brother in law Ronnie Felderhoff and family friend Brad Strickland.
