Michael Connor Bailey

A Celebration of Life Service for Michael Connor " Mikey " Bailey 12 of Lewisville is set for Saturday January 25, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Pastor Kenneth Reiter officating. Mikey went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2014 in Denton, Texas.. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 25, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. til 5:00 p.m at the funeral home.
Mikey was born on May 23, 2001 in Ft. Worth ,Texas to Michael and Laura Ann Hammond Bailey. Mikey was a special needs child diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at six months and despite his medical hardships he lived at home with his father and Delcy, and he was a very vibrant and happy child that continuously touched the hearts of everyone that he met with his radiant smile on his face every day especially when dad sang Mikey is Daddy's baby boy..Mikey was God's blessing and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Mikey is survived by his father Michael Shaun Bailey and his wife Delcy Yadira Aguilera Bailey, mother Laura Ann Hammond, brother Jordon Christopher Hammond, grandmother Debra Lynn Bailey, grandfather Roger Hammond, great grandfather James Bennett, great grandparents George and Christine Hammond aunt and uncle Russell and Teresa Fomby, aunt Sandra Boyd, cousins Tommy Elvington, Russell Fomby, Kaycee Fomby, Kelsey Fomby. A special thanks to the following people for their devotion and supreme care for Mikey during his twelve and half years on upon this earth: his nurse Marcia Shober, nurse Kristen Decker and her husband Brian and Bix his pet and best friend.
