Phyllis Marie Blackmon

Graveside services for Phyllis Marie Blackmon, 65, of Lake Kiowa, are set for Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, Texas with the Rev. Tom Westbrook officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. util 8:00 p.m at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Phyllis passed away on January 29, 2014 at her home.

Phyllis was born on July 21, 1948 in Pampa, Tx to Benjamin Graham and Ottie Frank Wallace Blackmon. Phyllis loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially playing games. She enjoyed doing cross stitch and above all she had a loving heart for children, caring for them as her own. She enjoyed the time she spent working at the Memorial Baptist Church Daycare in Grapevine, Tx working in the one and two year-old department.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Alan Blackmon of Lake Kiowa, sons Alex, Troy, Jason and Jeffrey Blackmon, ten grandchildren, and sister Toni Cummins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
