Funeral services for Jimmy “Jimbo” Carroll Jones Jr., 52, of Kenner, LA., are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Green officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Jimbo was born on October 7, 1961 in Sherman to Jimmy Carroll and Dorothy Fay (Perry) Jones Sr. He passed away on February 10, 2014 in Dallas.


Jimbo is survived by his wife Li An Jones; son Quinten Jones; stepchildren J.L., Jica, and Josh; parents Jimmy and Dorthy Jones Sr.; brother Mike Jones and his wife Barbara; brother Timothy Jones; brother David Jones; sister Mary Fay Jackson; sister Bonnie Bearwald; sister Connie Hiser and her husband Phil; sister Diana Thomas and her husband David; sister Carla Jones and her husband Jeremy Stewart; many aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Velma Jones, and Ben and Rheba Faye Perry.
