Graveside services for Robert “Bobby” Lewis Tuggle, 60, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Reed Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, April 14 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Tuggle was born January 19, 1954 in Muenster to Arthur and Maureen Tuggle. He passed away April 12, 2014 in Gainesville.
Mr. Tuggle graduated from high school in Muenster. He raised his family on their ranch in Bulcher, where he also raised cattle and horses. Bobby frequently hunted whitetail deer and enjoyed researching the genealogy of his family. Recently, he and his wife had moved to Gainesville and he took great pride in keeping his yard and landscaping in the best of condition. Bobby was a simple, hard working man that cared greatly for the well-being of his family, and his love is reflected in those that survive him.
They include: wife, Vicky Sutton Tuggle of Gainesville; son, Richard Tuggle and wife, Joyce of Gainesville; son, Sam Tuggle and wife, Jennifer of Callisburg; daughter, Julie Rogers of Haslet; son, John Tuggle and wife, Audra of Tioga; daughter, Lori Noggler and husband, Bobby of Callisburg; son, Mark Edington of Sherwood Shores; son, Mike Edington and wife, Donna of Whitesboro; son, Matthew Edington of Thackerville, OK; child of his heart, Sierra Edington; brother, Frank Tuggle and wife, Robin of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Ruth Sutton of Gainesville.
Mr. Tuggle was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Noble Henry, Bill and Lilly Tuggle, and Samuel and Minnie Tuggle.
Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Cooke County.
