Alcuin H. Zimmerer

A funeral mass for Alcuin H. Zimmerer, 82, of Lindsay, is set for 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Petta officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Geo. J. Caroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Zimmerer passed away April 20, 2014 in Denton.   He was born May 13, 1931 in Lindsay, to Herman Joseph Zimmerer, Sr. and Rose Elizabeth Kuhn Zimmerer.

Alcuin lived his entire life in Lindsay and was a life-long member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Mr. Zimmerer is survived by his sister Marie Zimmerer of Lindsay; sister Sr. Mary Rose Zimmerer of San Antonio; sister Agnes Betzen of Herford; sister Sr. Barbara Zimmerer of San Antonio; sister Betty Hellman of Lindsay; brother and sister-in-law bill and Marcella Zimmerer of Lindsay; sister-in-law Lucille Zimmerer; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Alcuin was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Bernard, Frank, Herman, Jr., Clarence, and Alvin; his sister Sr. Herman Mary Zimmerer.
