Maria G. Garcia

Funeral services for Maria G. Garcia, 80, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Manuel Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in the New Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Maria was born on February 5, 1934 in Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico to Eulogio Puebla Gonzalez and Manuela Gallegos Puebla. She peacefully rested in God's hands on Monday, April 28, 2014 in Gainesville surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David and Yolanda Garcia of Gainesville, Jose and Erika Puebla of Harlingen, Manuel and Lynne Puebla of Luella, Angel and Karina Garcia of Denton; daughter Vicky Lopez of Thackerville, OK; daughters and sons-in-law Jessica and Robert Morales of Gainesville, Elena and Martin Velazquez of Melissa; brother and sister-in-law Eulogio and Amelia Puebla of Bridgeport; sisters Maria Puebla Flores of Las Cruces, NM, Maria de Jesus Butler of Las Cruces, NM; sister and brother-in-law Josefa and Armando Gonzalez of Meoqui, Chihuahua; grandchildren Billy Bond, Vanessita Regalado, Daisy Garcia, Carter Garcia, Cassandra Velazquez, Kandra Velazquez, Gavin Puebla, Alina Garcia, Ivan Puebla and Alexa Garcia; great-grandchildren Tyler Bond, Tatum Bond, Tucker Bond, Angel Regalado, and Andy Regalado.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eulogio and Manuela Puebla, her spouse Eulalio Garcia, brother Jesse Puebla, sister Dulces Nombre Puebla, daughter Jesusita Garcia, daughter Elena Garcia, and a great-granddaughter Bridgett Bond.
