Richard Todd Mccollum

Funeral services for Richard Todd McCollum, 48, of Sherman, are set for 10:00 am Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Richard was born on March 12, 1966 in Dallas to Todd Walter and Margaret Dale (Purcell) McCollum. He passed away on August 7, 2014 in Sherman.

Richard is survived by his mother Margaret Wofford of Gainesville; son Mitchell McCollum of Gainesville; son Kent McCollum of Gainesville; daughter Allison McCollum of Gainesville; brother Terry McCollum and his wife Angela of Callisburg; sister Tammy Ferrer of Gainesville; sister Johnette Venegas of Gainesville; brother Lyndon McCollum and his wife Veronica of Gainesville; sister Lahoma Vaughn and her husband Scott of Burkburnett; brother Danny McCollum of Sanger; sister Debra Darrough and her husband Herman of Whitesboro; brother Christopher Wofford and his wife Amanda of Sanger; grandchildren Channing McCollum, and Sophia McCollum; and Uncle Joe McCollum and his wife Pat of Amarillo. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father; brother Todd McCollum; brother Joseph McCollum; and grandmother Gladys Blair.
