Johnny Hayle Boardman

Memorial service for Johnny Hayle Boardman 77, of Gainesville are set for Tuesday September 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Whaley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Service under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Johnny passed away on August 30, 2014 in Gainesville.

Johnny was born on January 28, 1937 in Fort Worth. Johnny was an airline pilot and loved flying. His passion was to share aviation with young people and did in retirement as a professor at the University of Central Texas. Johnny was a very caring person and gave much to his family. He was a widower twice over. Also, he enjoyed an award winning 66 Mustang with Nita and they attended many car shows.

Survivors: Johnny is survived by wife Nita, children Tenjey and husband Devin, Johnny, Eddie, grand children Jessica, Kristine, Brandon, Timothy, Johnny, Joshua, Hannah, great grand children Bethany, Noah, Holly, step childern Gary and wife Dotie, Greg and Linda, step grandchildren Loran, Morgan, Kelly and step great grandchild Lacy.
