Howard Devon Young

Funeral service for Howard Devon Young 88, are set for Friday October 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with Rev. Terry Barnett officiating with burial to follow in the New Resthaven Cemetery. Howard passed away on October 28, 2014 in Gainesville, Tx.

Howard was born on September 21, 1926 in Thomas Tx to Jesse and Mamie Davidson Young. He married Camilla Richardson on May 5, 1964. Howard was involved in Ranching, operating a Dairy and landscaping most of his life, he enjoyed being in the outdoors and loved gathering at the Callisburg cafe for coffee.

Howard is survived by son Jimmy Young and his wife Juanita, daughter Kathy Jeffcoat and her husband Junior, daughter Annette Barnett and her husband Terry, son Bret Foster, daughter Devona mayo and Kevin Holt and daughter Tammy Bruce, grandchildren Heather Rimer and her husband A.J., Brooke Dobbs and her husband Jackie, Danielle Ward and James Watkins, Lindsay Shuemake and her husband, Pam Johnson and her husband Johnny, Michael Young and his wife Gabby, Jason Jeffcoat and his wife Christy, Shannon Jeffcoat, Brandon Jeffcoat and his wife Hollie, Tiffany Mitchell and her husband Branden, Kassandra and Stormy Barnett and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Anita Rae and granddaughter Alissa Lambert, his parents and brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
