Funeral Mass for Candy Riley 82, of Gainesville are set for Friday November 7, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Pette officiating with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A rosary followed by a visitation will be held on November 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Candy passed away November 4, 2014 in Denton, Tx.

Candy was born on February 2, 1932 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Humberto and Candida Mendez Garcia - Salas. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Gainesville.

Candy is survived son Sidney Riley and his wife Kathryn,sister in law Mary Riley grandchildren and their spouses Paul and Amy Riley Debbie and Wes Frazier, Shaun and Emma, Riley Patrick and Katie Riley , Bryan and Ashley Riley, Toni and Joe Tom Clary, and Katie Brunner, great grandchildren Alex Eden, Kaleb Riley, Maddison Riley, Abigail Riley, Presley Riley, Avery Riley and Bennett Clary. and siblings Aida Molett, Elmer Garcia-Salas and Humberto Garcia-Salas. She was preceded in death by husband Frank E. Riley, sons Harry Riley, Patrick Riley, siblings Marta Carrillo, Paquita Rojas, Abel Garcia-Salas, and Alicia. Rivas.Pallbearers will be Ed Gallaman, John Gallaman, Mark Phillips, Neil Plumlee, Eric Jarvis and Jim Brooks In lieu of flowers memorial contributionsmay be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
