RALPH RICHARD HEINE MD
92, son of Arthur G and Bertha Elise (Most) Heine, formerly of Elk City, Oklahoma, born February 10, 1922, Fort Wayne (Allen county)
Indiana, died Thursday November 13, 2014 Denton, Texas.
He graduated from Purdue University,1943, and Northwestern University School of Medicine, 1947. He married M. Noreen Mosher on June 26, 1948, in Chicago, IL. Following his army service, he and his family moved to Elk City, OK, where he began his general medicine, Orthopedic, and surgical practice. He practiced in Elk City and Leedy for 41 years, retiring in 1994. After retiring, he returned to assist in surgery for two more years.
He is survived by his wife Noreen of Denton, TX; four sons and their wives: Richard and Carol Heine of Evergreen, CO, Dr. Ronald and Jacque Heine of Athens, TX, Dr. Donald and Anne Heine of San Antonio, TX, and John and Wendie Heine of Argyle, TX; daughter Margaret and husband Dean Flanagan of Gainesville, TX. Also surviving, are two sisters Elenore Wade of Sun City West, AZ and Mildred Henry also of Sun City West, AZ. Ralph is survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grand children and numerous relatives and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by one son Robert Heine, and three sisters Melba Wilkerson, Dorothy and Norma Heine.
Ralph was a member of the Catholic church while in Elk City, OK and Denton, TX.
His funeral mass will be held at Saint Matthew's Catholic Church, Elk City, OK, Saturday November 15 at 10:00 AM with
burial following at the Calvary Cemetery, Elk City, OK.
