Billie Lou Holley

Billie Lou Franklin Holley passed from this life on the morning of Wednesday, November 26, 2014.

Billie was born on April 25, 1924 in Enid, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Geraldine Knarr Franklin. After graduating from high school, Billie's sharp mind and aptitude for math led her to find work as a secretary in Independence, Kansas, where she met a sweet-natured Army cook named Willis Holley. They married on December 5, 1943 and shared their lives for 62 years.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents and husband Willis. Her passing is deeply grieved by her daughters, Sherri Holley of Gainesville and Bonnie Holley Huffman of Battiest, OK and granddaughter, Lacy Campbell and husband Brandon of Chicago, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2014 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Mark Loewen officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, preceding the funeral.
