Memorial services for Helen Berry Salzar, 86, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.

Helen was born on May 25, 1928 in Rosston to Lon Hix and Hallie Viola (DeBorde) Berry. She passed away on December 2, 2014 in Gainesville.

She is survived by her daughter Movita Harris of Gainesville; daughter Bettie Sieger and her husband Lawrence of Gainesville; son Rodger Foster and his wife Leshya of Graham; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Jaurice Berry of Nashville, TN.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean Salzar; son Lloyd "Duke" Foster; sister Edith Perryman; sister Nell Johnson; brother Dale Berry; and grandson Lawrence Dale Foster.
