Funeral services for Juanita Russell Roller, 92, of Era, are set for 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Danny Sluder officiating. Burial will follow in the Era Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
Juanita was born on May 12, 1922 in Aspermont, Texas. She passed away on December 4, 2014 in Gainesville.
Juanita was a member of Era Baptist Church. She worked many years for the Era Independent School District. Juanita married Lloyd Roller on April 11, 1942.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Miller and her husband Curry of McKinney; son Grady Roller and his wife Linda (Richardson) of Prairie Point; daughter Donna Sluder and her husband Danny of Whitesboro; granddaughter Kimberly Davis Sanford of Austin; granddaughter Terri Sluder Malek and her husband Tim of Denison; grandson Greg Roller and his wife Cindy of Sulphur Springs; grandson Chris Davis and his wife Kristi of Delta, CO; grandson Toby Sluder and his wife Jennifer of Whitesboro; grandson Chad Roller of Prairie Point; grandson John Roller and his wife Kristen of Era; ten great-grandchildren; sister Estalyn Bailey Thomey of Jacksonville, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 64 years Lloyd Roller.
Pallbearers will be Greg Roller, Chad Roller, John Roller, Alex Roller, Garrison Roller, and Toby Sluder.
