Memorial service for Imanell McDaniel 75, of Paradise, Tx are set for Dec. 15 at 2 pm at George J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel. with Pastor Mike Langdon officiating.. A reception will follow at First United Methodist Church, 214 S. Denton St., Gainesville Texas. Imanell passed away on Dec. 4, 2014 in Paradise, Tx.
Imanell was born on May 12, 1939 in Hibbitt Texas to CD and Marie (Mitchell) Bacon.
Imanell is survived by her daughter Rhonda Greer and her husband Shane of Callisburg; daughter Sheila Hooker and her husband Jake of Paradise, grandsons Mack and Marshall Hooker of Paradise and Shane Greer, Jr. of Callisburg, sister Sherley Riley and brother-in- law Bill of Gainesville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceeded in death by her parents CD and Marie Bacon and brother, Dwayne Bacon

Imanell was 70 year resident of Cooke County . She was born on her family farm in Hibbitt, Texas and graduated from Callisburg High School in 1957. She first employed at the age of 19 at the First State Bank as a teller. She later worked at Tyler & Simpson and remained there for 20 years. After that location closed she worked at the Cooke County Clerk’s office. She spent her last 22 years as the Property Manager at Grayhill Apartments; She retired from Tierra Properties in 2010 and moved to Paradise to be close to her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years and upon her move to Paradise she joined the Paradise United Methodist church. She filled her time with gardening, shopping, traveling and enjoying her family – especially her grandchildren. She began her 5 year fight with ovarian cancer in 2009 and inspired many with her strength and positive attitude. She remained positive and strong in her faith through this entire journey. She will be remembered as a beloved
