Davie Mac Costin

Funeral Services for Davie Mac Costin, 75, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Stobaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Davie was born on September 28, 1939 in Lamesa to Mason Smith and Cleo Magdeline (Burton) Costin. He passed away on December 13, 2014 in Gainesville.

He is survived by his former spouse Carolyn of Gainesville; daughter Kelley Rowland and her husband Brandon of Plano; daughter Kristina Mayo of Azle; daughter Amy Tarr and her husband Joe of Fort Worth; Catherine Spivey and her husband Doug of Haslet; son Charles Costin of Gainesville; granchildren Hannah Mayo, Jenna Spivey, Molly Spivey, Emily Tarr, Joseph Spivey, Noah Spivey, Evan Tarr, Jackson Rowland, Elizabeth Spivey, and Isabella Rowland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Bobby Costin.
