Carrie Jewel Robertson

Funeral services for Carrie Jewel Robertson, 86, of Gainesville, are set for 11:00 AM Thursday January 15, 2015 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son. A visitation will be held from 7:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the funeral home.

Carrie was born in Callisburg on September 2, 1928 to Charles and Elva Jewel (Cason) Beam. She passed away on January 12, 2015 in Denison.

Carrie loved to visit with family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, and being outdoors. Carrie was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching them play.

She is survived by her son Don Robertson and spouse Debbie; son Terry Robertson and partner Cindy Russell; sister Lara Francis Canaday and spouse Byron; sister Tessa Sue Mitchell and partner Ed Lowery; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Stephen Robertson; parents; and ten brothers and sisters.
