Clara Ruth Jacobs

A private family graveside service for Clara Ruth Jacobs 85, formerly of Gainesville was held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m at the Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home.

Ruth passed away on January 15, 2015 in Corinth, Tx.

She was born on April 17, 1929, in Gainesville, Tx to Ralph and Clara Myracle Dunnavent. She married John Haskell Jacobs on June 1, 1947 in Gainesville. Ruth was very creative, very artistic, and loved to paint. She also helped her husband John in their business ventures running the business office, but her passion in life was loving her family especially the grandchildren which called her Ges Ma.

Ruth is survived by her daughter and son in law Barbara Ann and Marcus Williams, grandsons Jeffrey and Arryn Williams and Stacy and Kristin Williams and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Jacobs and her daughter Patti Lynne Jacobs.
