Memorial service for Herman Nieman, Jr., 92, of Gainesville, are set for 11:30 AM Friday, January 23, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Hare officiating. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:30 pm on Thursday January 22, 2013. Herman passed away on January 19,2015 in Gainesville, Texas

Herman was born on July 5, 1922 in Rega, Michigan to Herman and Alvina Fink Nieman Sr He married Dorothy Sutkatis on May 8, 1948 in Ohio and retired from National Supply Company. Herman enjoyed flying, was an avid golfer and loved singing in the choir at the First Presbyterian Curch where he was a longtime member

Herman is survived by his sons and daughters in laws Charles " Chuck " and wife Carol, David and Jan Nieman, daughter and son in law Ann Nieman and George Wright, brothers Lester, Elwood, Harold and Kenneth Nieman He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, his parents and a sister Sue Webber You may sign the on line registry at geojcarrollcom
