Rodney Joe Hughes

Funeral services for Rodney Joe Hughes 56, are set for Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. Burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Monday February 16, 2015 at the funeral home. Rodney passed away on February 13, 2015 at his home.

Rodney was born on March 21, 1958 in Gainesville, TX to Joe and Rancie Hughes. Rodney worked at TXI for 23 years. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends, and especially loved taking his grandchildren tubing on his boat.

Rodney is survived by his wife Kelly Hughes, daughter Amy Hamilton and her husband Chris, grandchildren Logan, Nate, Gabrielle, Alex and AnnaRose Hamilton, brother John Hughes, sister Sharon Archer and her husband Tommy.
Numerous nieces and nephews.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Randy and Jerry Hughes and sister in law Mary Hughes. Pallbearers will be Sammy Brewer, Ralph Hill, Jerry Hughes, Mike Jones, Joel Eldredge and George Kiser.
