William " Bill " Insel

Funeral services for William " Bill " Insel are set for Wednesday February 18 ,2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Commerce Street Church of Christ with Jay Culpepper officiating with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 17, 2015 from 5:30 til 7:30 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Mr Insel passed away on February 15, 2015 in Dallas, Tx.

Bill was born on May 1, 1927 to Willie and Bertha Neu Insel. He served in the U.S. Army, was a life long member of the VFW and was a avid motorcycle rider. Bill married Georgia Kathman on November 29, 1947, and was a member of the Commerce Street Church of Christ.

Bill is survived by his daughters Sandy Whittle of Irving, Cindy Uptmor and husband Pete of Carrollton, Linda Tenute and husband Greg of Columbia, MO; son Ed Insel and wife Nancy of Muenster , grandchildren Ken Whittle, David Henderson, Heather Tenute, Holly Tenute, Jonathan Sicking, Nicole Rich and Jared Sicking. and 7 great grandchildren.
