Raymond Thomas Quinn

Funeral service for Raymond Thomas Quinn 69, of Gainesville are set for Friday March 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Life Tabernacle Church with Forrest Smith, Michael Smith, Rev. Arthur Green and Rev. David King officiating with burial to follow with Military Honors in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday , March 5, 2015 from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m at the Victory Life Tabernacle Church. Raymond passed away on March 2, 2015 at his home.

Raymond was born on August 22, 1945 in Troy, TN. to Ben and Doris Blackburn Quinn. He served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the Vietnam War. Raymond married Joyce Crittenden on Nov. 8, 1966 in Fulton KY. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, loved to watch motocross, he built and pastored the Hillister Pentecostal Church in Hillister ,Tx. Raymond served as the maintence director at the Willow Bend Assisted Living and Memory Care Center were he loved the residents, most of all Raymond loved his wife, children grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sister and extended family.

Raymond is survived by his wife Joyce Quinn, daughters and sons in law Debbie and Bobby Perry, Jennifer and Bobby Brewer , grandchildren Dylan Perry and his wife Shandi, Chase Perry and his wife Cierra, Courtney Warren and her husband Brady and Coby Brewer, great grandchildren Markos Perry, Eyva Perry, and Beau Warren, brothers Danny Crittenden, Roy, David, Tony and Gary Quinn, sister Wayma Quinn, nieces, nephews, in- laws and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Nathan Quinn.

Pallbearers will be Dan Crittenden, Tom Crittenden, Kenny Adkins, Scottie Atkins, Gary Gilkey and Ben Gilkey, honorary pallbearers will be Robby Graves, Brian Graves, Kevin Graves, Tim Graves, Darrell Mayo, Willie Milder, Gary Wiebe, and Bobby Brewer Sr. The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Jones, Solaris Hospice and Jana Crockell for their special care.
