Blane Wilson

A memorial service for Samuel Blane Wilson, 52, of Gainesville, is set for 11:00 Am Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Chapelle officiating, and Elder Clarence Hardin and Pastor Ronny Phillips assisting. No visitation is planned.

Blane was born unto the late Lavon Washington and Samuel Crowley on December 11, 1962 in Bonham, Texas. He was a 1981 graduate of Gainesville High School. Blane earned his Associates degree from North Central Texas College.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lavon; and his sister Wanda Lanell Taylor.

Blane leaves to cherish his memories his wife Courtney Wilson, step-daughter Chloe Christian, and daughter Trinity Wilson, all of Gainesville; sister Sheena Berryman of Gainesville; sister Lavonna Wright of Sherman; sister Rochelle Wilson of Louisiana; brother Russ Gooden of Wichita, KS; brother Alander Doggins of Sherman; and brother Johnny Doggins of Fort Worth. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends who will dearly miss him.
