Funeral service for Oscar Brown 75, of Gainesville are set for Saturday 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Ricky King officiating with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday June 19,2015 from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Oscar passed away on June16, 2015 at his home.

Oscar was born on April 12, 1940 in Durant, OK. to George and Edna Fink Brown. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working on any thing mechanical and spending time with his family.

Oscar is survived by his son and daughter in law Terry and Patti Brown, grandchildren Trent Brown, Alesha Brown, Garrett Brown, Raychell Colwell, Crystal Jenkins, Ashley Colwell, six great grandchildren, sister Thresa Morton and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Brasher, James Skaggs Jr, Danny McNatt, Colton Skaggs, Zack McCulley and Bradley Davis.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen Brown, son Gary Brown, siblings Rex, Clarence, George, Billie, Shirley and Linda. You may sign the on line registry at geojcarroll.com.
