Barbara Jean ( Brooks ) Feaster New

Memorial service for Barbara Jean ( Brooks ) Feaster New are set for Sunday June 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville, Tx with the Rev. Travis Flanagan officiating and burial will take place in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley , Oklahoma at a later date. Barbara went to be with her Lord on June 8, 2015 in Gainesville.

Barbara was born on May 14, 1947 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Garland Robert and Mary Ella Stringer Brooks. She lived in Pauls Valley most of her life, but loved Texas and wouldn't think of any other place to live. Barbara worked at Braums and Wal Mart, loved to read especially the bible, love attending Calvary Baptist Church, loved animals especially cats and kittens, loved to vacation, loved going to the park for a picnic and visting the Zoo, but most of all loved her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children Clarissa Blackburn, Terry Feaster and Stephanie Lantz, grandchildren Kyle Miller, Jimmy Shebester, Joey Shebester, Kevin Blackburn, Jordan Lantz and Theran Lantz. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Bobby Feaster. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Noah's Ark 2501 Weaver Street, Gainesville, Tx 76240.
