Funeral service for Virgil Welch 57 of Burneyville, OK. will be held Friday July 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Gainesville, Tx with Pastor Randy Taylor Jr. officiating with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday July 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church. Virgil passed away on July 7, 2015 in Marietta, Oklahoma.

Virgil was born on October 29, 1957 in Gainesville, Tx to Virgil R. and Edith M. Welch. He worked in various jobs in the oil field and enjoyed gardening.

Virgil is survived by his wife Doris Welch of Burneyville, OK., sons Leonard Welch and his wife Ashley of Gainesville and Elvin Glenn Jr. of Nocona, Tx, daughters and their husbands Frances and Jose Garcia of Burneyville, Ok. and Misty and Donny Withers Jr. of Marietta, Ok. 14 grandchildren, mother Edith M. Welch of Gainesville, Tx, sisters Edith Ann Clark of Gainesville, Tx, Barbara Keen of Saint Jo, Tx, Virginia Proffer of Myra, Tx, Brenda Pierce of Haynes, FL., Kathy Greene of Wichita Falls, Tx, Susan Tuggle of Saint Jo, Tx and brother John Welch of Gainesville, Tx.
