Maria Victoria Avila

Funeral Mass for Maria Victoria Avila 60, of Gainesville are set for Monday July 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Gary Picou officiating with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. A rosary will be recited on Sunday July 19, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Maria died on July 16, 2015 at her home.

Maria was born on December 23, 1954 in Sain Alto Zacatecas, Mexico.

Maria is survived by her daughters and their spouses Claudia Castaneda and her husband Miguel Diaz and Cecilia Castaneda and her husband Jaime Melenea, six grandchildren, siblings Lorenzo Avila, Rosa Maria Avila, Maria Bartola Avila, Jose Dolores Avila and Magdaleno Avila.Memorial contributions may be made to Claudia Castaneda at the Wood Forest Bank at Wal Mart in Gainesville.
