James Clint Roberson

Memorial service for James Clint Roberson 53, of Long Beach, California will be held on Saturday August 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grand Ave. Baptist Church will Rev. Bill Black officiating, burial will follow in the Era Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home.. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m til 2:00 p.m at the church. James passed away on July 30, 2015 in Palmdale, CA.,and services were held for James on August 21, 2015 in Long Beach, CA.

Clint was born on June 28, 1962 in Oxnard, CA to Roger and Barbara Myers Roberson. Clint graduated from Summerville High School in Summerville South Carolina in June of 1980. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1984 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Clint was a member of the stage and marching bands at Summerville H.S. and the Orange County Community Band in CA. Clint worked for Reliable Power Tongs in Gainesville and as a aerospace engineer in CA. He was employed by Northrop Grumman in Palmdale CA as a system engineer . Clint was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Long Beach, CA.

Clint is survived by his daughter Mackenize Kathleen Roberson of Long Beach, Ca, mother Barbara Roberson of Gainesville, sisters Kathy Roberson of North Charleston, S.C. and Holly Roberson of Gainesville, niece Jenna Roberson of Gainesville and great nephew Morgan King- Roberson of North Charleston, S.C.. He was preceded in death by his father Roger K. Roberson , grandparents Mr and Mrs J.H. Roberson and Mr and Mrs. Chas. C. Myers. Remebrances may be made to the Era Cemetery Assoc. P.O.
