Jeffrey Dan Morris

Funeral services for Jeffrey Dan Morris, 54, of Valley View, are set for 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ with Arthur Green officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Morris passed away August 30, 2015 in Valley View. He was born March 24, 1961, in Gainesville, to Alford Dan and Martha R. Henley Morris.

Jeffrey was a co-owner of MCM Heat & Air. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. He has been a devoted husband for 36 years, proud father of his children and loving “Big Daddy” to his nine grandchildren.

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife Tammy Smith Morris of Valley View; daughter Crystal Morris of Rogue River, OR; son and daughter-in-law Jacob and Melissa Morris of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law Joshua and Jodi Morris of Denton; Grandchildren: Jaden Morris, Kylie Morris, Dylan Daniels, Daisy Thorman, Caleb Morris, Olivia Morris, Lennon Kraus, Carlin Kraus, Maddox Morris. He is also survived by his parents of Gainesville ; sister Daidra Greenwood of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law Shawna and Leslie Brown of Grand Prairie; several nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his beloved Dachshund, Edward B. Dog.
