Bessie Ruth Brinkley

Funeral services for Bessie Ruth Brinkley, 82, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Ernie and John Brinkley officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Ruth passed away September 15, 2015 in Gainesville. She was born August 3, 1933 in Gainesville to Edward and Bessie Emma Covey Arnold.

Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ernie and Gayla Brinkley of Valley View; son and daughter-in-law John and Robin Brinkley of Westphalia; grandson and granddaughter-in-law Joshua and Shawna Brinkley; grandson and granddaughter-in-law Jason and Katie Brinkley; granddaughter Taylor Brinkley; granddaughter Erin Brinkley; great-grandchildren Bailey, Reagan, and Jackson Brinkley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill Brinkley; infant son Ronald Brinkley.
