Leslie Denell Skinner

Funeral services for Leslie DeNell Skinner, 46, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Eddy Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held at the church at 1:00 PM, the hour prior to the service.

Leslie passed away September 15, 2015 in Wise County. She was born in Biloxi, MS to Howard Leo and Bobbye Nell Welch Tupper.

Leslie was a nurse for 25 years. She loved the outdoors, spending time boating and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Leslie is survived by her husband Howard Burk of Gainesville; daughter Katherine Skinner and her fiance Wes Holt of Gainesville; granddaughter Kairi Cochran; father Howard Tupper of Ocean Springs, MS; sister Donna Chambers and her husband Johnny of Wichita Falls. She is also survived by her close friend John Edwards of Gainesville.

Leslie was preceded in death by her mother in 2014 and her son Jacob Skinner in 2005.
