Glen Wayne Pharr

Funeral services for Glen Wayne Pharr, 60, of Callisburg will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Perry officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Pharr died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 17, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. His parents were Hubert Wayne Pharr and Dorothy Ray Gaddie Pharr. Glen worked at Tony's Seed and Feed in Gainesville. His hobbies included art, farming and ranching. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who affectionately called him Glenpa.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Pharr of Callisburg; his daughter, Krista Pharr and Shawn Moore of Gainesville; his son, Jon Eric and Laci Pharr of Clearwater, Fla.; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Pharr and Jakob Moore of Gainesville; brothers, JD Coker of Muenster, Mike Joiner of Fort Worth and Ricky Joiner of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
