Michael Shane Sloop

A memorial service for Michael Shane Sloop, 40, of Boyd is set for 2:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Michael was born on September 15, 1975 in Dallas to Henry Monroe and Debra Sue (Springfield) Sloop. He passed away on October 5, 2015 in Boyd.

He is survived by his daughter Harley Sloop of St Jo; brother Ron Sloop and his wife Angie of Gainesville; sister Rhonda Sloop of Denison; step-sister Janet Nunoz of Pearsall; step-sister Dorothy Sloop of Pearsall; step-brother James Sloop and his wife Ermelinda of Mesquite; step-brother Henry Sloop of Mesquite; and step-brother Marcus Sloop of Pearsall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Brittany Sloop.
