Connie Wilson Timms

Funeral services for Connie Wilson Timms, 56, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Woodbine Baptist Church with Bro. Wiley Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Timms passed away October 30, 2015 in Denton.

Connie was born January 8, 1959 in Gainesville to John and Flo (Huddleston) Wilson. She worked at Weber, had a bus route, and most recently worked at WinStar. She was an accomplished seamstress, having completed many fine quilts. She also enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren. A kind and welcoming person, Connie touched many lives and had countless friends. Although, Connie would say she didn’t consider anyone just a friend – they were family.

Survivors include: husband James Timms of Gainesville; son Harvey Lee Pankratz, Jr. and wife Cassie of Gainesville; daughter Sabrina Michelle Proffer and husband Jeremy of Whitesboro; son Charlie Joe Pankratz of Gainesville; grandchildren: Braedyn, Harmony, Alyssa, Bailey, Michael, Madelyn (Maddie), and Memphis; parents John and Flo Wilson of Gainesville; brother Ronnie Wilson and wife Linda of Gainesville; sister Joyce Wilson of Gainesville; sister Sherry Glenn of Gainesville; and brother Carl Wilson of Gainesville.

The family encourages everyone to wear blue, Connie’s favorite color, at the services to celebrate her life.
