James Weldon Seay, Sr.

Memorial services for James Weldon Seay, Sr., 82, of Mount Vernon, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Mount Vernon Church of Christ.

Mr. Seay passed away in Denton on November 4, 2015. He was born February 10, 1933 in Rockhill to Edward Long and Medie Jaggers Seay.

James is survived by his loving caregiver Sue Seay of Mount Vernon; daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Paul Lueb of Plano; daughter Carolyn Grier of Gainesville; son Weldon Seay of Newton; daughter Brenda Lewis of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law Pamila and Don Carter of Little Elm; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother; one sister; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Seay was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude Ortlon Seay, his parents, and one brother.
