Hubert W. Wright

Funeral Services for Hubert W. Wright, Jr., 79, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, with Tim Stobaugh and Darrell McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2015 at the funeral home.

Hubert was born on March 6, 1936 in Kilgore to Hubert W. Wright, Sr. and Loma (McPherson) Wright. He passed away on November 11, 2015 in Gainesville.

He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1969.

He is survived by his wife Jane of Gainesville; daughter Debbie Stobaugh and her husband Tim of Gainesville; daughter Nancy Green of Arlington; grandchildren Craig Stobaugh, Edward Green and wife Sarah, Rachel Stobaugh Bowles and husband Daniel, and Bailey Green. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Molly Stobaugh, and Clancy Bowles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson Kyle Green.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gainesville memorial fund in Hubert's name.
