Funeral services for Luis Alfredo Puente, 20, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Luis passed away November 21, 2015 in Gainesville.

Luis was born January 15, 1995 in Gainesville to Jose Alfredo and Rosario (Calleros) Puente. He married Cierra Puente on June 7, 2014 in Corinth. He enjoyed riding horsing and fishing.

Survivors include: wife Cierra Puente of Gainesville; parents Jose Alfredo and Rosario Puente of Gainesville; brother Jose Angel Puente of Gainesville; brother Alejandro Puente of Gainesville; mother-in-law Chello Perez of Sanger; sister-in-law Faith Ann McConnell of Sanger; grandparents Miguel and Lourdes Puente of Gainesville; grandparents David Calleros and Graciela Ramirez, both of Gainesville; and many other beloved family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help them during this difficult time.
