Margaret Ann Bewley

Margaret Ann Bewley passed away on December 21, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on March 9, 1938 in Cooke County, Texas to William John Enderby and Ethel Lewis Enderby.

On December 23, 1955, Margaret and Glenn D. Bewley were married. After graduating from the University of North Texas, she taught in the Gainesville School District for 25 years. Her love for fashion was fulfilled in her downtown shop, Chapman’s, where she enjoyed her customers.

Margaret is survived by her husband Glenn D. Bewley of Gainesville; her daughter Doris Ward and husband Curtis of Richmond; son Jackie Bewley and wife Rosemarie of Flower Mound; son Don Bewley of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers David, Lewis, Andrew, Frank, and Charlie Enderby; Sisters Dixie Chalmers, and Johnnie Mae Stobaugh.

Visitation from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Thursday December 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
