Mary Catherine Hundt

Funeral Mass for Mary Catherine Hundt, 93, of Lindsay, is set for 10:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary with visitation to follow will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the funeral home.

Mary was born on November 25, 1922 in Gainesville to Clemens and Amelia (Rauschuber) Hermes. She passed away on January 26, 2016 in Lindsay.

She is survived by her son Roger Hundt and his wife Linda of Carrollton; Marilyn Steger and her husband Will of Lindsay; daughter Claudia Zimmerer and her husband Rudy of Lindsay; daughter Doris Harrison and her husband Roger of Denton; daughter Jeanette Houston and her husband Paul of Columbia, MO; daughter Nancy Davis and her husband Glen of Whitesboro; son Chris Hundt and his wife Shelly of Lindsay; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister Louise Schad of Lindsay; sister Elfrieda Hundt of Lindsay; sister Amelia Voth of Muenster; sister Angela Haverkamp and her husband Frank of Lindsay; brother Joe Hermes and his wife Alice of Lindsay; sister Rita Corcoran of Gainesville; sister Bernice Strittmatter of Pilot Point; brother Gilbert Hermes of Lindsay; sister-in-law Wanda Hermes of Lindsay; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Hundt in 1977; her parents; brother Clem Hermes; and sister Anna Hermes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Catholic Church Restoration Fund.
