Willie Joseph Fuhrmann

Funeral Mass for Willie Joseph Fuhrmann, 15, of Lindsay, will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, Texas. Burial will follow in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 7:00 pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Willie Joseph Fuhrmann was born on July 10, 2000. At ten years old, Willie moved to Cooke County and was adopted by Annette and Linus Fuhrmann. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and then Lindsay High School. At Lindsay, he was on the Junior Varsity football team and power lifting team. He threw the discus in track and field. He lettered in One-Act play as a freshmen. Willie was a Boy Scout working on his Eagle Scout project. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and active in the Youth Group.

Willie is survived by his parents; his sister Laura Yarbrough of Denison, Texas and her husband James; his brother, Sean Willard of Spring, Texas; his grandmother, Margie Fuhrmann of Lindsay; his grandparents, Jack and Elizabeth Witherow or Ada, Oklahoma, two nephews and two nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
