A Mass of Christian Burial for Douglas Arnold Anderle, 50, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay. Interment will following in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville – visitation will follow. Please note the separate locations for Rosary and Mass.

Mr. Anderle passed away January 31, 2016 in Gainesville.

Doug was born September 15, 1965 in Wichita Falls to Orville and Shirley (Schenk) Anderle. He attended grade school in Hobbs, TX. The family moved to Lindsay Doug’s freshman year, where he graduated in 1984. Doug married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Haverkamp, on December 28, 1990 at St. Peter’s in Lindsay. Following high school, he attended NCTC where he studied Agriculture. He then went to work at Wolf Creek Ranch as the main ranch hand. He then got the opportunity to participate in a work-exchange program in Australia where he resided for ten months. Upon returning from Australia, Doug and Brenda moved to Baggs, WY where Brenda had found employment. After two years, they moved back to Gainesville to raise their family and started their ranch. Doug began working for the Gainesville Fire Department and Brenda worked as a P.A. Doug took tremendous pride in raising his children and working his ranch. Doug served honorably as a fireman and was a devoted husband, father, and friend.

Survivors include: wife, Brenda Anderle of Gainesville; daughter Abby Dieter and husband Matt of Gainesville; son Caleb Anderle of Gainesville; son Evan Anderle of Gainesville; mother Shirley Anderle of Lindsay; brother Mark Anderle and wife Anitra of Graham; brother Jeff Anderle and wife Robyn of Seymour; brother Jay Anderle and wife Bridget of Lindsay; sister Sherry Copeland and husband Kevin of Lindsay; father and mother-in-law Ray and Louise Haverkamp of Lindsay; brother-in-law Steve Haverkamp of Lindsay; sister-in-law Carla Smith and husband Bob of Irving; sister-in-law Sandy Ogden and husband Bob of McKinney; sister-in-law Sheila Baekgaard and husband Kim of Ponder; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Anderle is also survived by his brethren of the Gainesville Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School.
