Earl A. Colteryahn, Jr.
Graveside services for Earl A. Colteryahn, Jr., 85, of Whitesboro, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Hibbit Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Baccus officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Hibbit Baptist Church on Saturday prior to the service.
Mr. Colteryahn passed away February 2, 2016 in Gainesville.
Earl was born August 4, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA to Earl A. and Emma (Hohman) Colteryahn, Sr. He was a self-employed rancher and bred, raised, and showed Quarter Horses. He was greatly involved in the AQHA, as he was a life-member, judge, and member of the AQHA Show and Contest Committee.
Survivors include: wife Betty Lou Colteryahn of Whitesboro; son Keith Colteryahn and wife Jana of Sturgeon; son Kent Colteryahn and wife Vickie of Callisburg; son Kevin Colteryahn and wife Trina of Tioga; daughter Leslie Greer of Callisburg; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank River Valley Health & Rehabilitation for the compassionate care Mr. Colteryahn received while residing there.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choosing.
Pallbearers are Ryan Colteryahn, Jared Greer, Jeff Threadgill, and Jimmy Greer.
