Robert Earl Holder

Graveside services for Robert Earl Holder, 77, of Valley View, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Valley View Cemetery with Rev. Gary Sweatman and Rev. Chris Mauldin officiating.

Mr. Holder passed away March 3, 2016 in Dallas. He was born May 23, 1938 in Sanger, to Rufus B. and Cora Mae Strange Holder. Because of his professions, Robert had befriended many people all over the United States. He also enjoyed spending time at the Ray Roberts Elk Lodge where he was their adopted Veteran. He loved to help people in need and often cooked food for the American Legion and Cumberland Children’s Home. He had a kind heart and cherished is family.

Robert is survived by his wife Ellen Holder of Valley View; son and daughter-in-law Robert Drew and Rebekah Holder of Valley View; daughter and son-in-law Rhonda Holder and Randy Eakman of Sanger; daughter Glenda Lee Anderson of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren Gavin, Silas, Emerson, Nicole, Victoria, Candace, Shane, Anna, Cheyeanne; great-grandson Riggs. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Macy and Ervin Howerton of Wagoner, OK.

Mr. Holder was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Raymond and James Holder; daughter Connie Prater.
